Trans Pride Initiative empowers trans and gender nonconforming persons to rise above social barriers to equal healthcare, housing, employment, and education.

Service area:We support, through correspondence, incarcerated trans persons experiencing discrimination, harassment, and other forms of violence in Texas.
Work with: Our focus is on survivors, but we can work with loved ones as well.
Services for survivors during incarceration include: Mail correspondence; information, referrals, and references.

Additional information: We are a small, mostly unfunded all-volunteer organization, so sometimes our response is slow, but we respond to all letters we receive.
